Institutional Research and Effectiveness Support - About Us
Institutional Research and Effectiveness Supprt (IRES) is a service oriented function that provides information and proposes alternative solutions to support the deceision-making process. The scope of IRES's responsibility is university wide and assumes the responsibility of either generating or supervising the development of all official University data reports. Institutional Research and Effectiveness Support provides official reporting to external agencies to include:
- Florida Board of Education
- Board of Governors
- UWF Board of Trustees
- University of West Florida Colleges
- University of West Florida Departments
- Other academic and administrative agencies
The University of West Florida is one of eleven public universities within the Florida Board of Education's Division of Colleges and Universities. An inventory of Florida Statutes can be found at the Florida Legislature's website.
The main campus of 1,600 acres of rolling hills and natural woodland along the Escambia River is ten miles north of downtown Pensacola. Its facilities have been designed to complement the natural beauty of this nature preserve.
