A workload measure based on credit hours generated for each term divided by the appropriate undergraduate or graduate divisor. In Fall or Spring term, an FTE is equivalent to 15 credit hours at the undergraduate level or 12 credit hours at the graduate level. In the Summer term, an FTE is 10 credit hours at the undergraduate level or 8 credit hours at the graduate level.
The teaching of 40 credit hours at the undergraduate level or 32 credit hours at the graduate level for an academic year.
Annual Full-Time-Equivalent (FTE) is calculated by multiplying Fall and Spring FTE by .375 and the Summer FTE by .25. These two products are then summed together to calculate the annual FTE for an academic year.
All fundable FTE topics in this data area will be prefixed with the word "Fundable". If the topic on the left navigational pane does not contain the word "Fundable", then the FTE's are a total amount of FTE's including fundable and non-fundable.
